Making Sure Your Visitors Can’t Buy
I need another AC adaptor for my iPod mini. Apple.com wants $49 for a replacement -- which is highway robbery -- so I looked around for an alternative. I found one that looks like it should work for only $8 - here's the link. The problem? There is no way to buy the product. There is no add-to-cart button. There is no buy-me button. Does this mean they are out of stock? Why show me the product then? They lost me as a potential customer. I'm off to buy from someone else.
