		<description>&lt;p&gt;Interesting.  I would definitely turn it off if it is sending a request every time.  If it is stopping the page from loading until the response comes in, that would be such a pain.  I'm on satellite internet (DirecWay), and the lag would be unlivable.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

That's one major reason we do have a client-side blocklist in ScamAlarm, so we can stop people from getting keyloggers and other junk from phishing sites.&lt;/p&gt;
